I am Jun(Herman) Luo. I teach chemistry, study computer science, and build simple tools to make learning and life easier.
I use this space to track my projects, share ideas, and reflect on what I’m learning along the way.
About Me
I started in science and education, and now I am transitioning into building software and digital tools.
I studied Pharmaceutical Engineering and later worked in A-Level education, starting as a teaching assistant and becoming a full teacher with over 2500 hours of experience. Through teaching, I learned how to explain complex ideas in a clear and structured way.
While preparing lessons and during my working holiday in New Zealand, I started to explore ideas more deeply. This curiosity led me to computer science. I realised that I am not only interested in understanding systems, but also in building them.

Born and raised in a rural village in China. -

Completed high school in a county-level city. -
2013 – 2017
Moved to another city to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering. -
2016 – 2021
Worked in English education, building teaching experience. -
2021 – 2022
Entered A-Level education as a teaching assistant. -
2022 – 2023
Working holiday in New Zealand. -
2023 – 2026
A-Level Chemistry teacher (2500+ hours). -
2024 – Present
Learning Computer Science and building projects in parallel with full-time teaching.
My Interests
- Martial Arts — practiced Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) during university and trained in Jeet Kune Do in 2019.
